With the growing popularity of pads and smart phones, we have shifted our focus to Responsive Design. A responsive web design uses "media queries" to figure out what resolution of device it's being served on. This web design approach is aimed at crafting sites to provide an optimal viewing experience—easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling—across a wide range of devices (from desktop computer monitors to mobile phones). Flexible images and fluid grids then size correctly to fit the screen. If you're viewing this article on a desktop browser, for example, try making your browser window smaller. The images and content column will shrink, then the sidebar will disappear altogether. Responsive design does require more programming time, as instead of creating a site for a desktop browser, several 'versions' must be created to allow for the new media sizes (pads, phones, etc.) At this time, Coolclick.com will only create Responsive Design sites with Drupal.
