Google Analytics/SEO

Search.Engine.Optimization.

Drupal is a very 'Search Engine Friendly' platform, so by just having a CMS website, you are already taking key steps to getting your website naturally ranked on sites like Google, Bing & Yahoo. However, we take additional steps to ensure that you are getting the most out of your content to ensure the best ranking.

Before starting a project, we meet with our clients to discuss Search Optimization planning. It is important that we understand what people are looking for and how you can help them to find it before we create a site navigation and hierarchy. If our clients are creating content, we ensure that URLS that are generated when creating content are 'clean', and we install modules that will generate clean Titles and URLS automatically. Site Maps are also generated and submitted to Google Analytics before launch. These are just a few things we do for our clients and we're happy to 'coach' our clients on how they can take advantage of their self-generated content and get some prime ranking without having to hire expensive SEO companies.

Google Analytics

Before we launch any site, we will set up a Google Analytics account for each client. Contrary to popular belief, Google Analytics can do most of the things more advanced analytics suites can do, except Google does it for free.

For those of you who don’t know, Google Analytics is a web statistics service that allows you to see how many people visit your site, what pages they go to, and where they are coming from. It’s a free service, and it works by sticking a piece of Javascript in your HTML code that loads when someone visits your page.

But, that only scratches the surface: it also allows you to create specific campaigns, goals, funnels, and reports that builds actionable data-sets and provides key insight into otherwise nebulous data. Most people have analytics set up, but a lot of them fail to dig into the data and miss golden opportunities to optimize their site. Every time you change the copy, structure, or design of your website, your web analytics suite will tell you what you should change (and whether you should make any changes in the first place).
