How We Work

Many of our clients come to us by word of mouth, others find us online. In order to quote your web project, it is often helpful if we have the following information:

1.) Defined concept for website

Please have your web site idea defined to the point where you know the business name and business concept.

2.) Defined function for website

For programming estimation, it is helpful if you know some of the functions your site will need.

For example, are you selling something? Do you need ecommerce?

Do you have an informational website? Do you want to be able to update your own content on the fly?

Do you want users to register or subscribe?

We are happy to make suggestions in function, as we realize there may be tools available to you that you are not yet aware of!

3.) Branding

If you do not have your logo, please let us know if you need help with this as well.  The best way to point us in the right direction, is to surf the web and find websites that you like. What is it about them that you like?

After you have the basics in hand, we typically like to have a phone conversation (we work with people around the world), or are happy to meet if you're in San Diego. We can then get a clear idea of what you want and then we send you a quote.

Upon quote approval, we will ask for some items like starter content in order to build your site 'wireframe'. If you do not have graphics, we will assist in obtaining those for you. You will receive a flat 'mockup' for approval for the overall look. Once this is approved, we dig in and start the programming magic. We always show you your site before it goes live, so there is time to make changes before the world sees your latest endeavor. Once we have final approval, we will assist you in setting up your social networking links, and away you go!

The majority of our clients will contact us with questions as they grow into their websites, and we are always happy to chat.
